With that being said, i signed up cause I think I figured out a solution.

I am (was) having the same issue of not getting anything to stream once following these steps.

So what I did was hard press on movie or show I want to watch and click add to library.

After that, click on the movieshow and when you reach a point that you see the.strm file, hard press, select play using.

Ive tried to follow this tutorial to add playercore but there is no user file in kodi to add it to.

When I open kodi and stream a movie it does not give me any option to play it elsewhere at all, it just plays the movie.

This happened to me too until poked around and launched Kodi.

When I went back to the File Explorer, I found that userdata folder magically appeared.

I am trying to cast TV shows and movies (no live video) to my TV and I get an error message on the TV that says the file is an unsupported codec.

Is there an easy way to select files that are supported UPDATE - I found that if I do a long press on the file I want to view and select download, I can see the file extension (i.e..MP4 or.MKV).

Now, when I try to stream that.MP4 file to the CC, all I get is the LocalCast icon on my TV and the video never starts.

When I started Kodi I was able to select a video from 1channel, but it didnt play.

Then I selected a video for which I got the message when video stops, click ok.

When i load a movie allcast popups before i can load(download) a subtitle, and then stream with allcast, is that possible Must i rewrite the xml Greets rico holland.

I am doing it with allcast and nearly all the videos do not open.

I click a video, select chromecast but then nothing.the video wont start.

Anywho Before I copy pasted the playcore file to the Kodi folder, I could watch NTV on my Android.

Same process When I open Localcast I dont get the Localcast home screen I see in your demo.

I can pair to my chromecast fine but still plays on my device.
